If you want to join our team. You’ll have to first join the school.

Attend Your Comp Sessions

Every competition team member must attend their comp sessions and a regular street dance class regularly.

What types of classes do you offer?

We offer a variety of dance classes including Street Dance, Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Acro, and Contemporary. Additionally, we provide Musical Theatre classes that encompass singing, acting, and dancing for all ages and abilities.

Are your classes suitable for all ages and abilities?

Yes, our classes are designed to accommodate individuals of all ages and skill levels. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced performer, there's a place for you at Straight Up Dance.

Where are your classes held?

Our classes are conducted in Loughton, North-East London. You can find all class locations on our Book A Class page.

How can I book a class?

You can book a class through our online booking system available on our website. Alternatively, you can reach us via email or phone and we’ll get you booked in ASAP!

What is your payment policy?

All registrations and payments must be done though our online subscription system. Fees are structured on a pro-rata basis and spread evenly across 12 monthly payments. To cancel your membership, one month's written notice is required, along with payment of any outstanding fees.

Do you offer flexible scheduling options?

Yes, we understand that life can get busy. We offer flexible drop-in and drop-out sessions throughout the term to accommodate your schedule.

Are there performance opportunities for students?

Absolutely! We're always preparing for our next production, providing students with opportunities to perform in shows and productions.

Who are the instructors at Straight Up Dance?

Our instructors are dedicated professionals who have studied at prestigious institutions such as Italia Conti Academy, Millennium, Debbie Reynolds in Los Angeles, Broadway Dance Centre in NYC, and London's Pineapple & Studio 68.

Do you offer online classes?

Yes, we provide online dance lessons suitable for all abilities, which are available for rent.

What is your refund policy?

Refunds are not provided for non-attendance, except under specific circumstances at the discretion of SUDTS. In cases of illness, if a student misses four consecutive classes and cannot attend the remainder of the term, a 90% refund may be issued with a valid medical note.

Are there any additional fees I should be aware of?

Payments not received by the 1st of the month will incur a late fee of £10. Additionally, all payments, including those related to shows, are non-refundable.

Do you provide opportunities to learn from industry professionals?

Yes, we regularly host industry legends for special workshops, seminars, and masterclasses, providing students with valuable learning experiences.
